Its not that bad actually. You need to remove theentire rear suspension
in one unit, with hubs, shocks, diff, etc all attached. You can change
thewhole tank in an evening if you hava helper, and air tools to speed
things up a bit.

You'll never get there. You really need to seal it up all the way around

I tried that too. Didn't work.
I'd just buy a good low mileage junkyard tank, or possibly one that has
had the RENU process applied to it. Look very careful;ly if you buy one
from the junkyard though. I put one in last winter that looked great,
and its leaking again already.
