I once thought these (braided) hoses were not easily obtained (except at
Audi's exorbitant markup), however last week I looked around a Bosch parts
shop in a nearby town and saw a display rack with rolls of at least 4
different sizes of the cloth-braided vac hose. (I think they called it
_pressure_ hose). The 5mm size was something around $1/ft. Sorry I can't
suggest a more specific source.
