Re: TT (and other ludicrous prices in the land of social welfare)
Approximate prices off the top of my head (TT official pricing not yet out)
in US skins in our land of 100% car tax and 22% VAT:
180hp TT (non-quattro) USD 60 000,-
225hp TT quattro USD 75 000,-
S4 USD 100 000,-
A4 2.8 quattro (base) USD 60 000,-
A4 2.8 quattro (US equip't level) USD 75 000,-
To put this into perspective, 10 years ago my Urquattro cost USD 100 000,-
and in the mid-eighties a Sport Quattro cost USD 200 000,-.
