Bob Myers' explanation is dead on.  While true that with two vehicles
there is 2x the amount of energy to dissipate but it is shared/absorbed
by two vehicles equally.  Therefore 2/2=1.  Perhaps the distinction
needs to be made between energy and damage to the vehicle.  Remember
that the barrier is going _nowhere_ hence 100% of the energy is absorbed
by the one vehicle.

Now, if the vehicles have torsen;)
