Re: Blacked-out 90 spotted, downtown Boston

To: quattro
Brett,
I came across this same car on Newbury Street at Dartmouth. It had a Boston
Police patch on the dash at the time, and a gentleman in a black S6Avant
was sitting directly behind it. I was about to inquire, but of course,
being Newbury Street a gaggle of decidedly crushing looking women walked by
and then the Avant was gone.... along with most of my higher thought
process.

Along this same vein, a lowered S4 with tinted windows was gracing Boylston
St. (not far from the A4/Viper incident), but it was painted something like
smoke silver. I do not recall smoke silver being a standard S4 color, or
Audi color for that matter. Am I insane (don't answer that), or have I
always missed the smoke silver Audi's?

  Spotted(or rather, couldn't miss) a tricked-out 90.

  - -ABT(or similar) front grille; flat+no rings.
  - -"Audi" badges on either side stripped down+all chrome
  - -lowered
  - -exhaust
  - -oversized wheels
  - -no badges on rear deck
  - -heavily tinted windows

With the extensive exterior mods, I figure this is most likely a lister.

  PS:When I mean "extensive", I mean..."took a good 20 seconds to figure
  out
it was an Audi" extensive. :o
