This is very different.  Until the car stops accelerating, it's pulling
very strongly.  It's not a gradual process at all - all of a sudden the
G force disappears.  There's no misfire, stumble or fuel pump cutout.
It's like having a slipping clutch in the accelerator cable.

I _know_ mine is underfueling (the top O-ring in the fuel metering head
is worn) but it still kicks me in the back at 100mph and runs up to an
indicated 130mph.  Specification is 137mph - I once saw 142mph indicated
on mine in Germany.

John's car has a K&N filter, which we clean before every test session.
The fuel flow rate is 1100ml per 30 seconds against a specification
of 900ml, and all the pressures are correct.  There are no cats on
MBs.  His metering head is new.
