OK, what's a reasonable deposit to put down to hold one then?  Even more
important, will the dealer give a good trade-in allowance on a '98 A4Q
with probably 15-18k miles?

Oh, BTW, had my first glitch with my A4 last night.  Sunroof seemed to get
a mind of it's own.  Was in open position, closed itself about 80%.  Moved
the dial to the closed position, it was about 1/2 vent open.  Moved it to
the vent position (raised at the rear), would vent correctly.  Move to
closed, stay 1/2 vented.  Move to open, would open about 20%.  Turned car
off and back on, worked fine.  Anyone aware of problems with the sunroof
motor or controller?  Or is the car just punishing me for driving while on
my cell phone?  (Had an emergency at work, had to direct recovery effort
until I could get to a computer.)
