S4 upholstery

My '93 S4 driver seat finally tore (the left bolster which
is scrapped everytime one gets in or out).

Has anyone had and fixed this problem?

I've been told just buying a replacement cover isn't necessarily
going to work because those skins have probably been sitting
around for 5 years or more, and have shrunk enough so that
they won't fit cleanly.

Also, is there an S4 owners email list out there?  And what
happened to the Audi registry (I tried

but it seems to point (unsuccessfully) to 

	www.chip-tuning.com
	
and no registry at the latter.
