... I know your pain brother! I learned that same lesson when I did the
clutch on the Fox, those many years ago. One other recommendation that I
also make is that if you are changing the clutch, pressure plate and
throwout bearing to replace the plastic sleeve that the TO bearing rides on
with a new metal one. It is also recommended that you think seriously about
the rear main crank seal and input shaft seal on the tranny at the same
time. Another one to consider is the drive flange seals on the tranny ...
but these aren't THAT difficult to access with the tranny in place. I
learned that lesson on the 4kSQ ...
