Hella Headlights Available
Friends, I have finally sold my last car which uses the small
rectangular headlights common to the early 5K series, and I believe
to many of the 4K models...so my long-treasured Hellas are for
sale.
I have two very high quality Hella low beam headlights for sale.
These were purchased in 1977 for my Chevy Monza Spyder, and
paired with sealed-beam halogen hi beams, they REALLY do an
excellent job of lighting up the road at night. (Stories available on
request...) The lights in question use H3 lamps and come with
their original packaging material. The H3 lamps are dual filament in
order to have the high side filaments on when the hi beams are on.
If I wanted Euro-lights but didn't want to pay $700, the first option I
would pursue is to pair these Hellas with sealed-beam halogens in
a 4-rectangular light setup. BTDT with the Chevy and with a Chevy
pickup, and in both cases, the illumination was great...more than
1/2 mile visibility at night on a clear road.
Re-confirming: these fit cars with the standard US small four-part
(2xlow, 2xhigh) rectangular headlights.
First $45 plus shipping takes them. Since I am moving to a new
home Thursday and may not have the computer up for a few days,
please be patient with me. I will check responses (if there are
many) in chronological order.
