TT Coupe's

Came back from a hectic whirlind trip in Europe. Avis strikes again,
rented a A4 1.6 for cheap and drove 4,000 KM in 9 days. Phew...
Anyway, heading up to Belgium out of Mainz on the A61 (through the
Eiffel Mountains by Nurburgring!) low and behold I saw a Truck-Car
Carrier full of TT Coupes headed south! YEOW, as I was doing about
180KMH, I turned my head and almost ran off the road.
Speaking of TT's, 26 of August Auto Motor and Sport has a fab cut away
drawing-centrefold and CAR from England, October issue, has a comparison
to Alfa GTV, and Mercedes SLK 230 and guess who wins of course, Audi.

My Graphics guy has seen 2 TT Coupe's running around LA near the
Westlake area, I suppose they are running emissions tests on them.

Is the TT the true successor for the UR-Q/S2/RS-2? Could very well be.
Especially the VR-6 4 Valve Twin Turbo or the VR-8 version speculated to
be out in 2002.
