Hello from NZ

Well I'm here and I've got an email address. I may have a different one
in a few days, but this one will be good until any other one is active.

I sub'd to the list yesterday and received a few message, but not any
since then. Is there a problem with the list or have I been found out
by the network police here? I would think if I made a misstep in
protocol that was corrected by an administrator here, I would've heard
about my grievous transgression by now.

Staying in Remuera, working just near Mt. Wellington, driving a Toyota
Corona, seeing lot's of great cars, not the least of which is just about
every Audi in the current lineup. Let's see, I definitely like the 90
Avants and the A3's a lot. I've seen some CQ's but not closely enough
to tell if they're anything more than the base CQ. One did have a
motorsport badge on the back, but I'm not savvy enough to tell if it was
the real deal or badge engineering. A couple of A8's and older 200's,
A6's, new and old, A4's, 4000's (older 80's), etc.

This is really cool. I really like the sweet looking & sounding V8
Holdens. There are some really attractive cars over here with some very
familiar name plates on them. Why the hell can't they sell some of
these in the states???? Oh well. Oh and just about any sedan you see
on the road can be found as a wagon just around the next corner. Old
Jag's, MG's, Minis, Alfas, Morgans, even some American muscle metal,
several current American models (RHD) like Chrysler minivans, Ford
Explorers, various Jeeps, and a couple full-size GM pickups. Oh yes,
and a Hummer.

Still can't escape seeing Clinton's haggard face on the TV even 12,000
miles from home and with only 7 or 9 channels.
