Re: An old 5000s loses its teeth (some moody humour)
Igor,
You spins the wheel, you takes your chances. BTDT, on Jeep G. Wagoneer
- flywheel w/one small area of worn (not broken) teeth (no pun). Worked
for a couple of weeks, luckily, and because engine started almost
instantly, then starter hit the spot. . . The sound was enough to go
directly to shop. Don't think it will be reliable especially if it's
hard starting; safe? I don't know but with your friend's track record,
_what_is_ safe? For your sake, MHO is advise friend to: fix it now,
before starter bites again, sign up for AAA and stay close to home.
HTH,
