4k transmission cooler

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions that hopefully some of you might be able to shed
some light on.

The transmission cooler has gone out.  The car is draining the coolant
directly into the transmission and turning the auto trans fluid into a pink
frothy liquid.  I stopped driving the car immediately upon noticing this new
problem.

Question 1:
How hard is it to replace the transmission cooler and what special tools might
I need?

Question 2:
Any suggestions as to where I might find a good deal on a transmission cooler?

Question 3:
I was told that my transmission is probably destroyed due to the coolant
water, is this possible?
