5k t radiator fan

I'm thinking about purchasing an 85 5k turbo non-q auto car for possible
conversion to my 4kq ...the problem with the 5k is that the battery is dead
because the radiator fan won't shut off...as soon as you hook up the jumper
leads
the fan runs...It won't go off at all until the motor dies{dead battery}...not
being very familiar with 5Ks I 'd appreciate it if someone could shed some
light...
are the front seats interchangable to the 4k...thanks   mike 85  4ksq
