If you get no takers for your 'swap', here's a tip... I had a 1989
Audi 90 loaner (don't ask) for a while that had matt-finish wood trim.
I found that you could polish it up with a soft cotton rag and some
'elbow grease' to quite a high sheen that looked really nice &
expensive! You could try wax as well - might get it shinier still.
After this it actually looked better (more like real wood furniture)
than the gloss-varnished wood that you're looking to swap with.
