Clutch
Guys;
I did a clutch on an '86 5KCSTQ a couple years ago, and yes, it
took over 10 hours. I also did some other work, so in total, it was up
on stands for a few days, but the r&r part was at least 10 hours. I used
a Sachs OEM clutch, and the effort on the new one was very low, contrary
to previous experience. It seems to be holding up though. That car BTW
had over 200,000 miles. My own 5KCSTQ currently is almost at 205k
miles, and still strong on the original clutch. I think that with a few
more of these 4 wheel burnouts I'll be looking at a new clutch though... :-)
