I just went through this last week.  It depends on what you're looking for
-- for example, if you just need a cat-back performance exhaust then
Scorpion seems to be the way to go.  It costs around $795 at TAP which
isn't a whole lot more than the cost of the Audi original cat-back exhaust.

If you're like me and you need the whole 9 yards from the manifold to the
muffler -- then good luck!  There seems to be plenty of cat-back options 00
TAP has the Scorpion-- then there's Ansa, Leistritz, and Borla (expensive).
The Lestritz system is OEM and build to Audi specs.  The others are
considered 'performance' exhausts and I think Scorpion is your best choice.

The problem is finding anyone who carries the cat-FRONT exhaust.  Forget
it.  I had to get mine direct from the dealer at a cost of $540.  I shopped
around at TAP, BLAU, GPR, IPC, and the closest they could come was to offer
me a used unit for approx. $350 9from BLAU).  I decided to pay the extra
and get the warranty.

If you do come across any good prices for the front exhaust let me know --
I'm curious.
