RE: Who's had a bad BLAU! experience

Bill,

I'm glad to hear that you've had good luck with them. They are a good
source.
However please indulge me while I take this personally...

>I would also put him in the no-nonsense category...
>which is JUST LIKE a lot of Southerners I know. They'd
>rather NOT have your business if you're rude or
>cause them problems. Southerners sometimes
>tend to "put you off" as well.

In my particular experience, I was NOT rude and _I_ did not cause the
problem. I gave my address correctly and it was fouled up on his end.
Period.

>This of course is no excuse not to resolve problems,
>but I don't expect to be coddled and smooth-talked...
>if I want that I'll go to the dealer and pay for it.

I could care less about being coddled and smooth-talked. Have you
spoken to Linda At Carlsen lately? I do care about being lied to and
trated like a fool. And I expect any business I spend money with to
stand up and take their share of the blame and do right by it as best
they can, when they have made a mistake. I can forgive mistakes. I
cannot forgive arrogance and ignorance of them by the one who makes them
when I'm sending him money. All I wanted was for the problem to be
resolved. That did not happen to my satisfaction and I will no longer
do business with Blau.

>I'll continue to until they give me a reason not to...

Oh it will happen my friend.

>and I don't overvalue "hearsay" because I know
>I'm only getting half the story. Use it as a data
>point: yes... but not as a primary decision-maker.

Well Bill, in this case you did get the whole story.
Just because it's hearsay, doesn't mean it's not accurate.

>You can't please all of the people all of the time.

And Blau seems to be testing the limits of this.

Rant mode off.
