Re: burst brake line, oh my
Dylan:
My goodness!!! I've been using teflon/ss-braded lines on everything I've owned
from my 911 to my SCCA race cars...NO line failures! The Audi should have my
usual brake upgrades by spring. Usually the line abrades through what ever its
near. Do not tie one down to a body part it will saw right through it. The only
potental failure I can think of is at the assembly point, i.e. miss-assembled.
If you really got a mid-line failure I'd be really concerned for that whole run
of brake line produced by the vender that made them for Blau.
I'm glad you and yours are ok, don't drop this, follow up with Blau. For more
data check out any of Carol Smiths "Prepare-or-Tune to Win" books.
