RE: Mobile 1



Just thought I would finally chime in on this thread.
	I love Mobil one but with the cold winters the 15-50 is too thick
below 20 degrees.  Car turns over slow and takes a bit to start.  Tried
5-30 and that cured problem.  BUt my 180,000 mile motor burns a bit of oil
for some reason.
	I switched to   Castrol Syntech  5/50.   Seems to work great.
Starts easy in winter, doesn't burn as fast as 10/30 , 5/30  does.   ANd
Shucks has it on sale for $2.69 a quart this month  (October)   I think
I'll buy the limit of 2 cases.  ANd maybe 2 more at another store :)
	This oil seems as good as Mobil 1 in my limited experience but I
like having the 5/50 weight spread.   Starts easy, protects well at high
temperature.

Dreading putting new clutch in silver 4kq.  Red car will wait for the
turbo for a new clutch.  :)
