On the MB ur-quattro, things are so tight at the front that Audi have
made the centre section of the upper front crossmember detachable.  The
upper auxiliary radiator mounting is fixed to it, and the bonnet release
cable runs through it.

I think the 20V has the same feature, although I think there's less need
because the 20V engine bay is better organised.
