Igor,
What's the gear puller for? 
Did you replace the bearing, with a gear puller?

I rebuilt my pump, but didn't do the bearing, even though it came in the
rebuild kit.  I later bought another kit (from Carlsen) which cost much
less, but it didn't include the bearing. 
The book shows a press being used to replace the bearing and I don't have
access to one.
I've got more pump rebuilding in my future.  
You are right, the pump wasn't too bad to rebuild.
And it does not leak.
