Here's a tip I picked up from an A4 owner a couple of months ago (don't
have an A4, so I can't personally attest to its accuracy): open your
door a crack after you stop, and turn the engine off when the warning
beep stops (~1 minute,  he said).

Doesn't cost a cent, either !
