I have a 1987 5K that wants a new steering rack. My mechanic says
to use the upgraded rack from the 89-91 100/200 models. Can anyone
confirm that this will work. For a 'new' rack, Audi lists the same
part number for all 5K/100/200 models from 84-91 (443-422-065M).
My intention is to order a rebuilt rack from TPC, part number
443-422-065MX.

All comments and suggestions welcome.
