Re: Type 44 Eurolight Installation - Data point



Hi Scott;

    I'm running stock H4 bulbs in the Eurolights. I think they put out 55w
on low beam, which is about the same as the stock 9004 bulbs in the DOT
lights, so I'm not too worried about the switch. Those four high beams
though - I bet that would fry the switch in short order!
    It's interesting that your autocheck circuit still works with low beam
relays in place. Are you using the stock low beam circuits to trigger the
relays? Maybe the autocheck thinks the relay coils are headlight bulb
filaments.
