Check engine light

Eric,
I have a 93 100CSQW with 84K miles and have had the light that 
indicates an emission control system warning flash on twice in the 
past two weeks.  (never happened before).  First time I turned off 
AC and it went off immediately, second time, it just flashed on very 
briefly and went out on its on accord.
I did pull out the diagnostic codes, but have yet to get around to 
actually checking the computer.  It is my understanding that the 
error code will be stored in memory and can be recovered.  
Meanwhile, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is some sort of 
"temperature/climate" related phenomenon.
