Oil filter/Quickie oil changes

IMPO (In My Professional Opinion), quickie oil change places are only
marginally better than not changing your oil at all. Oil companies make
oil in various quality levels, the ones they advertize and the ones they
sell to bulk consumers like these places, and the filters are of the
lowest price they can get on a contract. Remember, they're servicing
your car to a price standard, not a quality standard. I wouldn't put a
fram filter, oil, air, or gasoline on my lawnmower, strike that, on my
bicycle! If you love your car, put in the highest quality parts and
lubricants you can afford. Hey, a real oil change and quality is only a
good bottle of wine more expensive than the cheapie, and won't make you
fatter or give you a hangover.
