83 UrQ to MC, how difficult

Long story, but its possible (unlikely, unless my friend decides to stop 
being selfish), that i will be acquiring an 83 UrQ that needs a new 
motor, for 1500 bucks.  It sounds like all it needs is the new motor.  So 
i was thinking that now is the right time to do the upgrade to the MC.  
My question is how difficult is it to do?

ie wiring and all  that stuff...i know that some of you on the list have 
done this....
