Probably need to clean and grease (silicone dielectric) all the
electrical connectors in the engine compartment (and elsewhere...),
including the plug boots.  The cars will run well in the wet but it
takes some effort to get them that way.  I still notice a small
difference but it's not as bad as it used to be, and I can wash my
engine without it failing to start now!

PS keep the wet below the intake...
