The crankshaft
Is identical to that used in the 2.8 V6...
The crankshaft bearing caps are  attached to the central crankcase by 4
bolt..
The middle two crankshat bearing caps also bolted to the side of the
crankcase...
The lateral bolted connection helps to improve acoustics...
The piston are forged to enable them to withstand the high load to which
they are subjected....
The cylinder heads largely identical to those used in V6 naturally aspirated
engine...
The mounting position of the right-hand cylinder heads is rotated through an
angle of 180º in relation to the left-hand cylinder head.....
