RE: Misc responses to contents of #2881
While the new, big filters are retailing for a lot, I thought you'd all
like to know what they really cost.
I just changed the filter cartridge (OE, Hecho in Deutschland) on my VR6
GTi and the box it came in had a $17.00 price tag on it. I paid $9.50 for
it and got the washer thrown in free.
Shop around.
I think it was a special "We think you are good people" discount, but what
the hay? Some of you would qualify ;^).
Have a good weekend everyone.
