(5000/100/200) cars, as well as great information on what those parts do, and
how to troubleshoot/repair them.  Should be required reading/browsing for any
type 44 owner, whether you turn a wrench or not.

Basically, in '89 audi changed the USA name for the 5000 series (type 44) to
the international nomenclature of 100/200, with the 200 being turbo charged.
Additionally, there were quite a few (mostly) cosmetic etc. changes starting
in '89 such as a new dash and interior, flush mounted outside door handles,
