Re: My Coupe was carjacked last night

Thanks Steve, I really appreciate you and everyone else who has responded
about my misfortune. The door panel is back on now, but the temp plates are
still there. The license plate frame is from "Crescent City Motors" in New
Orleans. The paint is highly oxidized, I was actually about to start waxing
when everything went down. Hopefully they will key the car all over or
something so the ins co will pay for new paint!!! Anyway, the back of my
coupe has non-standard badging--it says "Audi" on the hatch's left edge, and
it says "Quattro 20V" on the right side. The standard rings are in the
center. From what I know, this is the badging that was standard on the 20V
sedan. The car's left front fender has been repainted and is a slightly
different color than the rest of the car. Also, the grille has been replaced
by a non-quattro non-sport grille like you would find on an early model 80
sedan. I will post the license number as soon as I get that information.

Again, thanks for everyone's help and encouraging words. It really means a
lot to know that I have all of you in my corner. I will keep you all posted
as to what happens with my coupe. If it's a total or not recovered at all, I
might be in the market for a new one... Kennin, are you still selling that
pearl CQ?

Thanks to all,
Chris
