Re: Rear Suspension Bushings

Hello Steve,

When you order your parts they will need your VIN number. I guess there are
a few different sizes depending on your built date. I ordered my replacement
bushings from Blaufergnugen. I find Jim to be a great help on these cars.

I hope to get these installed this week but time is short. I doesn't look
that tough (boy! am I in trouble with the Audi gods for saying that). The
big middle bushing should pull/press out with some threaded rod and some
misc. washers and plumbing fittings that I keep around for these jobs
(bushings, wheel bearings etc.). The other is just a double or two piece
bushing that should just knock out with a few blows from a hammer (I hope).

Then its off to the alignment shop with all new bearings and bushings front
and rear, SS brake lines and a complete head/valve job.

Time to pump up the boost,
Kim
