RE: My Coupe was carjacked last night

Chris:

Be glad that you're OK! I know that is small consolation. But you've got
insurance, right? And since there are so few of these around, the cops
will probably find it, right? And if there's damage, why, cars can be
fixed, right? So, like the other posters have already said, count your
lucky stars that you're still around to look for another car!!!!

The unthinkable has happened. Around 8:00 last night, I was outside my
apartment building washing up the coupe so I could go hit some clubs
with a couple of buddies. While I was washing, I noticed a couple of
african american guys walking by and, though they looked a bit out of
place and all walking INTO my complex from the road, I thought nothing
of it. Later on, I dryed the car and then stood back partly to see if I
had missed anything and partly to admire the machine. That's when it
happend--the same two guys walked by again, but this time they turned
around and started charging at me. One came around front and the other
came behind me. I just froze. The one behind me got there first, and
he picked me up by my legs and threw me into the mud. Out came a
handgun, and it was immediately stuck in the back of my head and I was
instructed to give him the car keys. Ouch---I thought they wanted my
wallet--I never would have thought in a million years some idiots would
steal a car of which there are probably only between 10 and 20 examples
of in the entire state of GA. Anyway, the man with the gun gave my keys
to his partner and told me if I was smart I would not look up until they
were gone. The partner drove the car up to the street and stopped.
Then the one with the gun ran to meet him. I couldn't help--I had to
get possibly the last glimpse of my precious coupe as it was being
driven away by two fuc*ing morons who probably think Pentosin is the
latest drug to hit the market.

So.....if any of you Atlanta listers see my not-so-glossy Tornado Red
coupe driving around--I don't mind if you break a window when you shoot
the bastards. I'm just so upset imagining all the things that might be
happening to my coupe. After all, I just bought the car less than a
month ago. Though I'm not a religous man, your prayers are still
appreciated.

Sorry about the non-Q content for the most part.
