How long do front rotors last?

I spoke with the owner of the 90Q 20v I am buying.  After I told him I am
sending a deposit, he happened to mention the car might need front brakes.
Great!
Should the rotors be okay at 68,000 miles.  If not, what are some prices
you folks have seen for rotors and pads.  I understand brake components are
expensive for these beats.  Also, what is a good (read cheap) source for
parts?  Blau? I got a recommendation for Euclid but they didn't seem too
cheap on factory parts.  Good for aftermarket though.
