Re: V8 error code 4444
Thanks Everybody,
I think.
> 4444 is "end of table". or "no faults stored"
Then that means my ECU doesn't have the foggiest idea why my car is still surging
after replacing:
Right Distributor w/cap/rotor/hall sender (Fault code....) no more fault code as
witnessed
by the "4444" code :-)
OYS (Can you say stinky....) haven't noticed a stink since last night when I
changed it.
Cat temp sensor (Cat light flashing) no flashing
Engine Head coolant sensor (ohm reading flaky...)
Cleaned ISV (Erratic Idle..) now stable.
Air Filter (Very dirty...) nice and clean, as witnessed by the fact I haven't
had the cover on all summer :-)
etc......
Dooohhh....
I think this is my Audi Penence. I get to drive nice comfy/safe/fast
car, but it will annoy me just a little everyday....
Ok, I'm stepping off soap box ....
Next step for me let's try fuel filters..... and left cap/rotor....
