IMO, this statement is so wrong it defies rational comment.

As to the plates... there are a number of people who think buying German
cars is morally wrong.  These people will also be offended by your
proposed plates. 

There will always be someone offended by anything someone else does...
that doesn't make either party right or wrong... just mad.  My
daughter's karate class has posted on the practice mirror:  "Life's Not
Fair... Deal With It!"
