Hi Audifans,
Thanks to all who congratulated me on the car.  It is now resting safely at
Ingolstadt West, in the hands of the incomparable Mike Rooney.  He couldn't
believe I got it for $400.  I'm _still_ in shock.

Now, as an old (well, no longer new) lister with a new project, the
questions will start to flow.  Please be patient with the future onslaught
of ?'s.

How wide can I go with the Fuchs?  Mike said stock is 205 (like the reg.
turbo rims), 215 is fine for the Fuchs but he wasn't sure about 225.  I was
told the Fuchs were 1 inch wider than the stock turbos (7X15).  Are they
wider on the outer edge or evenly distributed?  

Also, a tire thread (Oh, God hit delete now).  I put D60 A2's on the 86
5kcst, and at $220 m&b I was happy with the prive vs. quality.  I am willing
to pay a little more for the Q mobile.  I would like a Hi perf M&S, as this
is about to become the Mammoth macchine.  Suggestions please?

And I need inserts (the suede kind) for the seats.  Sarge said call Carlsen,
so I'll try that first.  Anybody got any other ideas?

Since it only has 108km, after it gets running I'll probably start a dino
vs. synth thread...   :-)
