V8 questions

I've had my 1990 V8Q for two years now, but recently joined the qlist. Now
that my extended warranty has expired,  I'm looking into getting the repair
manual but haven't had much luck finding one.  Anyone know where to get
one, and how much it may cost?  Also, I'm looking at getting the TAP chip,
and wonder how much it actually helps, and is there anything else I can do
to boost performance.  BTW I do have the K&N installed in place of the OEM
air filter.
