RE: Correct 16" wheel / tire combo for a CQ?
I run 225/50 ZR16 Dunlop SP-8000's on Borbet 16x7.5" Type T's, with H&R's
and have no major problems on my CQ. The only minor rub is on the top
inside of the front fender lip under HARD cornering, and it BARELY rubs. I
don't even worry about it. I say go with the 225/50's...they work well, and
I find that they protect the rim better than a lower profile tire. I've
already a hit a rock and a curb that would have done serious damage to the
rim with a rubber band sidewall-type tire ;-).
