a) You really have to clean the thing out to get maximum key penetration.
b) I use a Facom D.107-17 driver on a Facom J.159 swivel-head rachet.
The driver is only 24mm long overall, and only 15mm protrudes when
it's in place in the plug. There's thus almost no "twist" when you
lean on it.
As always - shift the filler plugs before tackling the drain plugs.
