Actually thats a pretty common problem with those distributors. They are just crap. They make noise, they leak and they just plain dont last. Thats
probably why audi recommends replacing the whole distributor instead of just the rotor. I have yet to take one apart for a leak problem, but Im
sure it can be fixed without replacing the whole damn thing.
