FS: 82 5kt

bought this 1982 5000 turbo auto trans......NOT a quattro.......about a year
ago so don't know much of it's history.  my wife loved the car but it has
got to the point it needs too much work and I am too busy to give it
attention.

mileage I don't know.......broken odometer since we've had it (will at times
work for a few miles)...........after driven, then shut off for 15 minutes
or more, when started up it
smokes blue smoke quite heavy for 2 or 3 minutes until clearing up.  highway
driving the smoking is not there, but after highway driving then doing stop
and go in the city it will begin to smoke some as I coast to a traffic light
and again some as I accelerate from a stop......not noticeable while idling
at a stop........................for the last month or so it sometimes
doesn't want to start after being warmed up and then turned off for  45
minutes to an hour or so..........let it sit for a couple hours or more and
it starts.
.................the auto trans doesn't shift into 3rd like it
should........delayed shifting.

some other "don't works"..........power windows were fine until 2 of the
switches recently broke (have replaced 3 of them during the
year)...........power door locks inop...........
cruise control inop..........right front door outside handle inop as of last
week.

the body is in decent shape, no dings as far as I know except on the hood
(the right strut mount broke and let the top of the shock come in contact
with the hood and pushed up a ding......................car is
white.......brown leather interior.......front tires less than 5,000
miles........should replace rear tires.
