Erik:
On the US models of the 4kq's, the bumper mount is directly behind that
white reflector on either side.

I've heard of listers chopping up that mount to cram in a light. I didn't
want to mess with things too much, so I broke out the tape measure and
searched for some aux. lights on the web. So far, nothing will fit in
there very well. Either too darned big, or just the wrong shape. There
are plenty of those "projector" or "ellipsoid" thingys that will fit in
there, but then you'll have gaping bumper all around the light. Not too
factory-fresh, IMHO, and those projector light thingies are just not for
me. If you compare some of the candlepower ratings on those vs. the
traditional "real-big-lights" (ya know, the rectangular ones:>) they can't
hold a candle (pun intended).

If any other lister has found something that works, please let at least me
know :)...

Another option is to wire them into the corners of that black lower
grille, under the bumper. Take a look at:
http://www.audiquattroparts.com/4qkwith.htm

which is a page on Blau's site... you get what I mean. You'll also get
an idea of which route I'm taking to get more light on the road, and no,
it isn't aux lights :)...
