	the atrocities the british have, over the centuries, 
	committed against the irish are far, far to great for
	me (that's right, "mullin", from drogheda) to ever forget.
	this does not much influence my daily life, but i certainly
	will not "forget" that my ancestors were executed for 
	speaking in their native tongue.
