I think this is a US/non-US issue--the airbag light here is driven by a
Multifunction relay in the relay panel around the driver's knees--I
think that in other markets they may have had a different kind of
warning light.  BTW if you disconnect this light for any reason, it
stores an error code.  (This is fine for most people because there's no
connector)
