Well, the Mustangers got rid of Stuck and Heywood, wasn't it, after
added weight and inlet restrictors didn't do it, and they're out of the
competition in Europe in sedan and saloon racing. Ignoring those
reprehensible examples of "Ban it if you can't beat it", I guess you're
right, the  M3 is a better car, at least in races where there are no
Quattros.
I like to look at my poster of Stuck passing the Rousch Mustang on the
inside of a corner in the rain as I write these messages. I think that's
a Firebird and a couple more Mustangs in the background. Pity. As I
recall, that Mustang was about as close to a real one as a Nascar
stocker is to your everyday 1998 RWD V8 Ford Taurus.
