Finished 9004 - 9007 Conv
Well,
I did the 9007 conversion. What a difference
I did the swap, with relays and 12 Ga wire. Used Hella Bright
Light bulbs as well which are a little Whiter light. Anyhow, I am
impressed, much more light but the beam pattern is much better as well.
IT is more defined, of a better shape and with a sharper cutoff. Very
nice IMHO> Nothing like my Euros but I would say about inbetween what
Stock is and what the plain H4 Euro beams give you from what I have seen.
I have stock, 9007, h4 Euro, and H1/H4 Euros to copare too as I regularly
drive with each setup now in 4 different cars.
Any how, they make a very big difference and I would recomend this
swap to anyone who has a newer 4kq. Before they were not livable and very
dangerous where I live. (REad lots of Deer, Elk, Turkeys, etc crowding
the twisty, dark, slippery two lane highways that have TONS of potholes
and steep dropoffs on the side :) Anyhow, the stock was Bad, 9007 is
livable and good enough to be safe at reasonable speeds. Just slow down a
little in bad weather or night. But I still plan on adding Fog lights and
Driving lights. Of course with 400+ watts of Euro Beam H4/H1 power, my
84 really needs nothing even at absurd speeds at night (which I never
would do mind you :)
Anyhow, sorry for the soap box, just wanted to share my Joy.
